  NEW PIAGGIO BEVERLY
After nearly a decade of history and success, Piaggio Beverly gets a full revamp in style and technology. The new Beverly boasts a stylish, unique look and offers safety and performance levels in line with the reputation of the scooter that has dominated the market during the first decade of the millennium.

Available in the 125 and 300 cc engine capacity versions, the Beverly stands out for its top-of-the-class equipment and finish.

The Piaggio Beverly is the scooter that revolutionized the market with its nimble handling, reliability and safety and went on to become the top-selling model in the competitive, prestigious segment of high-wheeled scooters.

Over 270,000 units sold from 2001 to date bear witness to the huge success of the Piaggio Beverly, that has earned a reputation as an agile, safe scooter ideal for riding in town that also offers guaranteed comfort and reliability for short and medium range touring.
For the year 2010, Beverly is coming back fully revamped both in style and technology and promises to dominate the next decade.

Design
The elegant, sophisticated lines of the new Piaggio Beverly stem from a careful review of its traditional styling elements that evolved into a totally new, elegant design that is a strong reminder of the Beverly's past and success history.
The front end is eye-catching, with the new dual-reflector headlight assembly and the turn indicators integrated into the innovative LED daylight running lights at the sides of the distinctive chrome element in the middle of the leg shield.

The Beverly's character is stronger than ever.
Classic styling gives way to a more contemporary design. Dynamism and elegance merge into a sportier look and the sleek, slimmer tail echoes the lines of the new front end and is topped off by top-notch taillight with LED stop and daylight running lights. The innovative use of colour and materials lends the new Beverly an automobile-style look. The two-colour scheme of the bodywork, with coloured parts alternating with aluminium-look painted inserts blends in with the matching coloured saddle and interiors. The innovative metal-look finish central element running along the vehicle enhances its sleek lines and its muscular, dynamic attitude. The details of handlebar, leg shield back plate and central tunnel - that fits a new, motorcycle-derived tank cap - complement the unique, unmistakably Italian design of the scooter.

Beautiful and elegant, comfortable and functional, the new Piaggio Beverly is even more comfortable than its record-breaking predecessor.
The geometry of the triangle dictated by saddle, handlebar and footrest has been revised for improved rideability and offers a better fit for taller riders, while retaining the Beverly's distinctive riding position, that gives the rider a motorcycle-style feeling of total control.
The saddle with different ride heights for rider and passenger - a distinctive feature of this model - has been re-modelled to facilitate foot to ground reach and new foams have been used to improve density and ensure the utmost comfort. The saddle can be conveniently released using the handlebar button or the lever in the glove box in the leg shield back plate.
The helmet compartment was also fully re-designed and now offers 50% more capacity, making it the roomiest in its class and the only one capable of accommodating two full jet helmets. Again, the helmet compartment, now lit by a courtesy light, includes a convenient document compartment.
Load capacity is complemented by the practical luggage rack with integrated passenger grab handles, the match coloured glove box incorporated in the leg shield back plate and the retractable bag hook.

A turn of the key is all it takes to realize that the stylish design is backed up by advanced technology and a top-class equipment level.
Exhaustive, easy to read instruments with sophisticated pale blue lighting offer full information ready at a glance. The dashboard includes three round elements (speedometer, water temperature and fuel level indication) and a modern LCD offering trip meter, digital clock, battery voltage and ambient temperature indications, a set of warning lights for the immobilizer, fuel reserve, high beam, turn indicators, oil pressure and fuel injection system check lights.
The headlight sports a pair of halogen lamps for maximum brightness, whereas the daylight running lights use contemporary LED technology, ensuring high reliability and long life coupled with such benefits as lower consumption and high efficiency.
In addition, the new LED lights lend the new Beverly a captivating, unique look.

The Chassis
Gritty engines and unique, effective chassis have been the key success factors of the most coveted high-wheeled scooter since its inception. Once again, the new Beverly's technology provides nimble, exhilarating riding and guaranteed top performance.

The double-cradle frame in high-strength steel and pressed sheet metal sports a conventional fork with 35 mm stanchions up front, while rear suspension is handled by a pair of double-acting helical-spring shock absorbers with adjustable spring preload offering 4 different positions. Especially developed for the new Beverly, they ensure optimal absorption of road bumps while delivering a neutral response and accurate handling.
Sturdy chassis, large wheels with 20-spoke light-alloy rims (16" x 3.00" up front and 14" x 3.50" at the rear) and large tyres (110/70 and 140/70, respectively) make for top-of-the-class riding comfort and road holding, while retaining superior handling and tractability.
Active safety is handled by the revised, powerful braking system. The front brake sports a large 300 mm semi-floating disc, the largest in the class, with double-piston floating calliper and a new 12-mm pump, delivering powerful, smooth braking. The rear brake features a 240 mm disc. This results in nearly half the effort required to pull the brake levers in order to obtain the same deceleration.

Engines
Piaggio Beverly comes with two different engines, with 125 and 300 cc capacity, both featuring electronic injection system.
The 300 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve engine with electronic injection delivers a maximum power of 22.2 hp at 7,250 rpm, with a torque output of 23 Nm at as little as 5,750 rpm. With such specs comes a throttle response to match, coupled with feisty performance, making the new Beverly ideal both for tackling congested town traffic and for long-range touring in full comfort, whether riding solo or two-up.
The new Beverly's 125 engine is also equipped with electronic injection, significantly cutting consumption (- 20%) and maintenance costs (- 20%). In addition, the new ECS (Electric Cooling System) water cooling absorbs less energy and helps reduce fuel consumption.
With both engine capacities, the new Beverly is fast, sporty, spirited, and silky smooth thanks to electronic fuel injection, but also silent running and environment friendly. The oil-bath free wheel system reduces noise on start-up, whereas quiet running is enhanced by the new engine casing that also ensures improved drive train cooling.

Motor vehicle accidents are the most common causes of personal injuries. Injuries sustained in car accidents can range from minor cuts, bruises, and fractures, to serious and catastrophic injuries involving the head, neck, back, spinal cord, and brain. Our auto accident attorneys regularly represent individuals injured in car accidents. We have experience representing even the most seriously injured individuals.

Florida law requires drivers to carry automobile insurance. In most cases, if you are injured in an auto accident, you will seek financial compensation from an insurance company. Even if you are involved in a collision with an uninsured or underinsured driver, you will be able to seek compensation from your
own car insurance company. Because car accidents are so common, and cost insurance companies hundreds of millions of dollars, the insurance companies, insurance adjusters, and insurance defense attorneys work hard to limit your financial recovery. We work hard to maximize it.

Following a serious auto accident, it is essential that we begin an investigation immediately. Our team will develop and preserve valuable evidence in your case. We use the evidence to bolster our position in negotiations with the insurance company. Whenever a fair and reasonable settlement is unavailable, we will vigorously pursue litigation options.

If you were recently injured in a motor vehicle accident in Florida, do not agree to an insurance settlement without speaking with us or you may forfeit valuable rights. Contact us to schedule a FREE CONSULTATION with an experienced Florida auto accident lawyer. We also represent clients injured in accidents involving motorcycles and trucks.
